Minister of Sports and Youth Development Solomon Dalung is pictured alongside Perm Sec and Nigeria ambassador in Brazil celebrating as Nigeria scored during Nigeria Vs Sweden match which ended 1-0.

The Minister of Youth and Sports Barrister Solomon Dalung arrived in Manaus, Brazil before Nigeria's U-23 team were due to take on Sweden in the 2nd Group A match. He was accompanied by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Mr Christian Chinyeaka Ohaa.

About why he was in Brazil, Solomon said:

"We are in Manaus to wish our boys well and reassure them that their welfare remains a priority to the Federal government during their quest at the Olympic Games in Rio.

I have brought to them, greetings from the father of the nation, President Muhammadu Buhari and to assure them that Nigerians back home are routing for their victory later tonight against Sweden."
