Ekiti Government Assumption WRONG, Lawmaker ALIVE

A member of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Mr. Afolabi Akanni, who was arrested by the operatives of the DSS over sundry allegations, has debunked the rumour that he is dead.

Afolabi who represents Efon-Alaaye Constituency in the state House of Assembly, spoke briefly with journalists at the national headquarters of the DSS in Abuja on Thursday.

The government of Ekiti had yesterday released a press statement saying a source at the DSS office informed them secretly that the lawmaker had died in their custody.
