Abimbola Fashola's Birthday and Video of her and Tinubu dancing shoki
Lagos Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola‘s wife Emmanuella Abimbola Fashola celebrated her birthday two days ago and they released these cute photos to mark the occasion.
But you know what’s even more adorable? The story of how they met! Fashola’s dad was the matchmaker.
Here’s an excerpt from City People,
“I met my husband at age 27. That was at my best friend’s engagement then. I was serving and making sure everyone was okay and well taken care of, attending to people and all that. And then his father saw me and then said ‘I have a son and I will like you to meet my son.’ So I said no problem sir. He said ‘good, my son will soon come in.’“When he came, we introduced ourselves. We met. We exchanged our numbers and that was it. We took it off from there. He was cool, he looked cool-headed. He was friendly. He had no airs about him. He was a simple fellow. He was already working then as a lawyer.“He was at Sofunde, Belgore & Co. He clicked with my sisters too. He was always going to parties with them. He was bubbling with them. I didn’t use to go to parties with them. Since my sisters accepted him, I had no choice but to accept him,” she said.
The couple got married at a Catholic church as she’s Christian. Even after 22 years of marriage they still practice their different religions, and their children practice both,
“But ever since then my husband has practiced his religion and I have practiced mine. There is no trouble whatsoever. My husband has his own part of the house where he prays, I have my own altar there with my crucifix and my rosary and everything and everyone is minding their own business. When its time for family prayer, we pray. I pray mine to the name of Jesus Christ while he prays in Allah’s name & the children understand all that. My children are baptized and they go to church. When he wants them to go to mosque with him they go to the mosque with him.”

Nadia Buari Confirms Birth Of Twins + Pictures Of Her Rumored Atlanta Based Fiance
Word broke out last week that Ghanaian actress, Nadia Buari had given birth to twins. Today she all but confirmed the news by posting a thank you message on instagram for her fans.

Word broke out last week that Ghanaian actress, Nadia Buari had given birth to twins. Today she all but confirmed the news by posting a thank you message on instagram for her fans.
And word is Jim Iyke is not the father… but we already knew that right? Now let’s see how season 3 of Jim Iyke Unscripted plays out. There is word on the street (according to GhanaCelebrities) that Nadia Buari is actually engaged to someone else who is based in Atlanta, USA. Apparently they both went to University together and linked up shortly after Jim Iyke and Nadia Buari split up about 11 months ago. But this hasn’t been confirmed by Nadia tho, but it makes sense seeing as she had the baby in Atlanta.
And here’s what Jim Iyke’s team had to say “Jim Iyke is busy in Toronto shooting for his next season of unscripted reality show. He is too busy to have time to react to it, he is indifferent… he is right now excited about the shooting and nothing else. The important thing is that he wishes her well, he cares about her, that they are no longer together doesn’t mean they don’t talk anymore.”
